Statskog invited youth teams and associations to inspire children and young people in Norway to go fishing. In total, 500 sets of high-quality fishing rigs worth about half a million crowns were prepared. Now the lucky winners have been drawn and 500 rods will be sent to them.

Part of Statskog's social mission is to make fishing possible in Norway. In addition to the simple and inexpensive fishing pass, which is valid for 60 lakes, children and adolescents up to 20 years of age they can fish for free in Statskog areas.

Statskog owns a large area of land in Norway. The Statskog also manages fishing rights over a large area, more specifically on state lands outside common state resources. The greatest fishing opportunities associated with Statskog are in Troms and Nordland, but there are also great fishing opportunities on thousands of lakes in central and southern Norway.
