New data shows that absenteeism schools is increasing. Norwegian Education Directorate bada now Remedies theme development.

The Ministry of Education has tasked the Directorate of Education with examining what can be done in the short and long term to increase school attendance.

All students have the right to an inclusive, safe and good school environment, Mowi Rosenkvist  

In October, the management presents its recommendations to the Ministry of Education on further actions and what can be done to slow down the development . 

– Absence from school is a complex problem that must be solved together by several people. Our recommendations will include, among other things, how we can strengthen children and young people's perspectives on the knowledge base, how we can get better national statistics on absenteeism, and what we can do in the short and long term to prevent and track alarming absenteeism " - says Rosebud.
