Important advice for road users

If you must go for a ride, here's a tip:
– Give yourself more time, drive according to the situation and be especially careful. It may be a good idea to take extra clothes with you in the car, says Henny-Kristin Asperanden Navarsete from Norwegian Road Administration.

Watch the weather and road conditions and check  website www.vegvesen.no/trafikk , where you will find current road traffic information at any time.

Show respect for those who work

All outdoor crews are working hard, but with the large amount of snow coming, there may be challenges maintaining the standard and road snow-free in all places. Show respect to those who work at our vegans, they care about you getting there safely and they want you after end of the working day come back home.

Recently to users There were many reports of slippery roads roads and requests to leave your car parked.

Leave your car if you can during heavy snow and wind

– People can get bored with this kind of news. We can control a lot, but we can't control the weather. We hope that people understand that the most important thing for us is to inform them about the situation so that they know what may happen to them on the road, says Henny-Kristin Asperanden Navarsete.
