The concert will be held on Sunday September 11 this year. at. 20:00 in Cosmopolitan Scene . At a concert in Oslo, a band known for performing klezmer music - Jewish, instrumental folk music - will present material from their latest album "Loud Silence", which musically goes beyond traditional inspirations drawn from the music of Central and Eastern Europe.

Concert of the band Kroke!

This is not the band's first appearance at Cosmopolite Scene, but this year's concert is special. This year, Kroke celebrates its 30th anniversary. The trio started their music career playing in jazz clubs in Kazimierz - the Jewish district of Krakow. The breakthrough in Kroke's career was the discovery of their music by Steven Spielberg while directing the film "Schindler's List". Since then, the band has performed at large events and festivals around the world, playing with such famous artists as Tomasz Stańko, Nigel Kennedy, Anna Maria Jopek, Spanish violinist Diego Galaz and Norwegian folk musicians from Tindra. Kroke's admirers include Peter Gabriel or David Lynch, and the band found its devoted audience in Germany, Spain or the Nordic countries.
