Educational games

– Educational games still lag behind entertainment games. The entertainment games market is huge, it is developing very well, there are a lot of specialists and money in this business. The market for training and educational games is still in its infancy, but in our products We try to get as close to the entertainment market as possible in terms of form. We try to make these games attractive, have nice graphics and at the same time convey valuable knowledge - emphasizes Jakub Ryfa, project manager of DOJI - Educational Innovations, in an interview with the Newseria Innowacje agency.

Entertainment games dominate, although and these often have educational and cognitive values, especially for the youngest.

– There are plenty of games on the market that teach and we don't realize it, e.g. strategy games will help us realize what the historical and geopolitical situation was like in given period, there are whole series of games that teach history, geography, politics. There are also games that were created as entertainment and then found a typical educational use for them - explains Jakub Ryfa.

– The game is made in the style of a detective novel. A detective must solve a crime mystery. To do this, he must impersonate himself as a businessman, and in order to remain credible, he must learn how to manage this business well. In this way, at the beginning we hide the fact that it is an educational and training game, but at first contact it is an intriguing story. As the game progresses, it turns out that we have to acquire a lot of knowledge, thus improving our competences in the field of commercial negotiations, company management and individual departments. - indicates the expert.

Successful negotiation

Each person with whom the player conducts business talks has a different character. The success of negotiations measured by the value of signed contracts depends on the player's psychological skills. After each conversation, you receive feedback on the progress of the negotiations. During the game, the participant learns how to manage a company and tests his/her soft skills. After the game is over, coaches receive report about the course of training with information about the player's strengths and weaknesses.

- The game is very complex. We made the whole engine because we wanted to create a game that doesn't take the economy and the whole business thing neglectfully. We wanted the economy and the economic engine in the game to be as realistic as possible, which is why our proprietary solutions are there. Functions have been introduced that make the engine simulate business reality - emphasizes Jakub Ryfa.

The trial version of the game allows you to play for two hours, purchasing access to continue the game costs PLN 39. The game is also available on the Doji Academy e-learning platform.
