When deciding to buy new furniture, we are faced with quite a dilemma - choose ready-made serial productions or decide to make them for our project. Choosing the best solution is not the easiest thing to do. Several factors will be a key issue, including our own preferences, needs and possibilities resulting from the arranged space.
When to choose custom-made furniture?
Custom-made furniture is the best solution where there are room restrictions. These include, among others unusual shape of the room. If such a space is embedded in irregular walls on a diamond pattern, the purchase of mass-produced joinery may turn out to be difficult or even impossible. In this case, a much better solution will be to use the offer of a custom-made furniture manufacturer.

It may also turn out that serial furniture may not have all the functions we want. This mainly applies to system solutions. They are used in places that are used daily or for storage. These can be, for example, the most popular MDF boards or plywood. If we want exceptional durability, it is worth choosing slightly more durable materials, such as oak or beech. If the furniture is exposed to moisture, it is worth considering making furniture from more exotic materials, such as bamboo.
The possibility of combining materials
Of particular importance in the design of furniture is the ability to combine different materials. This is useful, for example, with kitchen or bathroom furniture. It is worth considering the worktop first of all. If we want to breathe spirit into a room, it is worth choosing wood. On the other hand, if we care about durability, then conglomerates and stones are unrivaled in this respect.
