This is a Polish response to the request of the Swedish authorities. The statement of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister presents an official request: “The trip to Sweden is connected with the official request of the local authorities, which, through the European Civil Protection Mechanism, asked for rescue support in the fight against forest fires. The fires are the result of a heat wave that the whole of Scandinavia has been struggling with for several days ”.
