There was a chance for more medals

Let us remind you that Poland lost its leading position after the last competition in the men's 4 × 100 meters relay race. Despite the fact that the Poles finished the semi-final with the second result, they did not participate in the final run. All thanks to the illegal stepping on the line by Dominik Kopć. As a result, not only did we miss the thirteenth medal in this year's European Championships. The Polish men's relay also finished the competition without any official time. The British won the final race - and it was they who finally took the first place in the medal table.
