HELFO E 106 or E 109 - how to assemble?

HELFO E 106 and E 109 forms are proof of insurance in Norway, which at the same time guarantees access to free medical services in all countries belonging to the European Economic Area. It also provides insurance for the family of the person concerned, whose family resides in Poland.

HELFO E 106 and E 109 forms - why is it worth it?

Pressure HELFO E 106 primarily provides the extension of medical care to other countries belonging to EOG. It is worth remembering that when working in Norway, you are entitled only to medical care in this country. Moreover, if you are the sole breadwinner and your family is in Poland, print E109 provides her with health insurance. Otherwise, they cannot use Polish health service.

HELFO E 106 and E 109 printing - benefits

Acquisition of prints HELFO E 106 and E109 entitles you to use medical care in EEA countries. Thanks to this, you get the following benefits:

  • you can plan treatment in Poland,
  • you can get treatment in Poland, e.g. if you get flu during your stay with your family,
  • Your family living in Poland can benefit from free healthcare,
  • confirmation of insurance accepted in all EEA countries.

HELFO E 106 form - how to obtain it?

Pressure HELFO E 106 is issued by Helfo - the Polish equivalent of the National Health Fund. To obtain this form, an application must be submitted with the following attachments:

  • employment contract (or certificate from NAV on receiving unemployment benefit),
  • a certificate of employment from the employer,
  • copy of passport or ID card.

How to apply for a HELFO E 109 form?

Application for printing HELFO E 109 should be submitted in the same way as the print E 106 to Helfo. However, the attachments that must be provided for the documentation to be considered complete differ:

  • current residence permit or certificate of residence in Norway,
  • a copy of the tax card or information on advance payments for income tax,
  • an employment contract or a certificate with NAV on receiving unemployment benefit,
  • a certificate of employment from the employer,
  • copy of passport or ID card.

It's worth keeping an eye on the deadlines

Pressure HELFO E 106 and E109 are issued for a specified period of time, maximum 2 years. New forms can be requested 3 months before the date on which the validity of the forms currently in use expires. It is worth remembering that the estimated waiting time for the issue of printed matter is approx. 12 weeks. Therefore, the sooner the application is submitted, the safer it is for us and our family.
