Eight cars were damaged after a young girl in Drammen threw stones at them. The same girl is suspected of having similar episodes in the past but cannot be punished.

Police attorney Magnus Rindal Fredriksen confirms eight cars were hit by stones thrown from the bridge over E18 Brakerøya. In a few cars it broke windows.

It also confirms that the suspect is involved in the case. This is the same person who was previously suspected of similar activities.

On January 24, three cars were hit by larger rocks, as a result of which one injured woman was hospitalized. On February 20, police received reports that someone had thrown snowballs at the E18, and on August 1, the car had a broken windshield after throwing stones from the same bridge.

Teenager throwing rocks at cars

Due to the fact that the act was committed by the child, the police attorney says there is little he can say about the case.

- But I understand that the press and public opinion badly need information. She says there are serious actions on the part of the culprit that can lead to serious material damage and personal injury.

Rindal Fredriksen says the suspect, who is under 15, will not say at this time whether she is considering other measures in the case.

- I can't comment on it any further. She says it's the age of the baby that makes it a difficult question.
