Is this your first stay in Norway?

No, I have already had the opportunity to perform in Norway, we have been to concerts in Oslo (including April 22, 2016 - editor's note)

You became recognizable in 2013 after releasing a single with Donatan entitled "We Slavs". What was your musical career like before this piece?

Before 2013, I was looking for myself, improving my vocal skills. I sang in a gospel choir and created smaller music projects.

How do you recall your performance at Eurovision? Was it an event that captivated or failed expectations?

It definitely charmed. It is a great and spectacular show. A show of organizational precision and the scale of the undertaking. My debut on one of the biggest stages in the world. There is something magical about it.

The average viewer watching Eurovision has the impression that everything happening on stage is spontaneous. How does it actually look like? How long does it take to prepare for such a performance? Is there any place for spontaneity on stage?

It is impossible to 100% plan the performance on stage. It is a living organism and anything can happen. We had a lot of rehearsals, lots of camera interactions developed, but things changed a little during the show.

You perform a lot - isn't it tiring? Do you sometimes feel the need to distance yourself from the media hype somewhere far away in the mountains?

I love concerts. They give me a lot of energy, I like contact with the audience. I couldn't cut myself off from what gives me such joy. On stage, music is alive, giving completely different emotions than working in a studio.

What musicians exerted the greatest influence on you? Who are you most inspired by?

Today I listen to so much different music that it's hard to say. From deep house or trap climates to soul / funk / gospel. I stopped dividing music into genres, today I classify it only in the assessment of whether I would like to do it or not.

In February this year, you released your single. There are already some publishing plans in the near future or it remains a secret as of today?

Łowcy Gwiazd is the first single from my new album, which I still have "in the workshop". I am still working on it, it has not yet taken a specific shape. The premiere will take place in 2019, but I am not able to provide the exact date yet.

What do you place the greatest emphasis on in your work? Texts, entertainment aspects, background music or the overall arrangement?

Everything is important. Both the music and the text or the music video. Personally, I like it when everything works together. I like when music breathes and works naturally, I do not try to forcefully "sculpt" it. Working on a piece is more about fine-tuning the details than laborious bending to something.
