What is the Nike Award?
The Polish literary award that honors the author of the book of the year. Awarded in Poland since 1997. The main assumption of this award is the promotion of Polish contemporary literature with an emphasis on the literary genre of the novel. The award is funded by Gazeta Wyborcza together with the Agora Foundation.

22nd award gala
On October 7, in Warsaw, in the building of the University of Warsaw Library, the twenty-second gala of the Nike literary award was held. Among the seven nominated authors where you could find such names as: Jerzy Kronhold, Wojciech Bonowicz, Anna Bikont, Mikołaj Grynberg, Ewa Lipska and Paweł Sołtys, Marcin Wicha won for the book entitled Stuff I didn't throw away.
