Exactly in 1958, on January 28, LEGO received a patent for bricks. Today it is 61 years since the whole world can use the infinite creativity of the creators of these blocks.
Have fun - LEGO
The company was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Christiansen. Only two years later it adopted the name LEGO, which is an abbreviation of the Danish phrase "Leg godt" which means Have fun. The founder of the company produced his first bricks in 1949 and called them Automatic Binding Bricks. However, no one thought then that a few years later one of the most popular toys in this world would be created in such a simple way by adding a tab to a plastic block. The first LEGO bricks released to the market were produced in only five colors: white, yellow, blue, green and red.

The "limitation" is your imagination
When LEGO bricks come out on the market, nothing is the same anymore. It should be mentioned, however, that for many years the company worked on various versions of the block until the target model was finally created, which has not been changed quite significantly until now. Children over 60 years have had this type of toy at their disposal, thanks to which they can create various structures. Their only "limitation" is their imagination. According to the creators of the company, playing with blocks helps from an early age to develop creativity among children, which is essential in the present day of the XNUMXth century.
