The data attack at VISMA happened last year in the fall, but only now has it become clear who was behind it. A Norwegian software company will have to be on guard.
Hackers attacked the Norwegian company VISMA
The attack took place last year in the fall, but only now has it been clarified who was behind it. The Norwegian company Visma was attacked by hackers, but according to security chief Espen Johansen, the attack was discovered very quickly, so he is sure that the perpetrators of the crime did not have access to any of the customer networks.
No serious consequences
Visma and its representatives are sure of one thing, the attack did not have any serious consequences for the operation of the entire company. Nevertheless, the company decided to find out who was behind the whole case and they hired Recorded Future for this reason. RF was to find out who attacked Visma's data and broke through the Citrix server. Ultimately, the results of the investigation are shocking, because China is most likely behind the whole thing, says NTB Johansen.

Visma's report
The company that became the target of the hacker today released a report that has all the details of the incident. The security chief adds that the main purpose of releasing the report is the hope that many IT experts in Norway will read it and apply the data it contains to their own systems.
China is not responding
Reuters repeatedly wrote to the Chinese Department of Security asking for a reference to the entire case. China has so far failed to respond to any of these requests. According to a report by the security company Rapid7, hackers gained access to the entire Visma network using stolen login credentials. Hackers allegedly carried out a data breach on behalf of a group known as APT 10. The company, according to Western authorities, has a strong connection with the Cloudhopper attack.
