This is another recent case when it turns out that meat from Poland is unfit for consumption. In Slovenia, it was found that 45 kg of Polish meat contain salmonella sticks.

Salmonella in Polish meat

Poland sent three batches of turkey and beef to Slovenia, which were intended for kebabs. Finally, the Slovenian food safety authority examined the meat and announced yesterday that salmonella was found there. The meat was ordered by the Slovenian company Alebon, and it was produced by the Polish company Efes-pol Fedai Simsek Sp. Zoo. A total of 45 kg of sick meat was withdrawn.

This is another such case

Unfortunately, Friday's information about the detection of salmonella sticks in Polish meat is not the first such case recently, as Slovenia has already reported such situations. Eventually, the bacteria, as well as traces of the veterinary drug, were found in samples taken from 5,3 tons of meat intended also for the production of kebabs. However, it should be added that the sick meat did not come from the slaughter in the Ostrów Mazowiecka poviat, where sick cows were slaughtered.
