Yesterday, i.e. February 24, the Seefeld 2019 world team ski jumping championship took place. Unfortunately, Poles did not manage to defend the gold medal of the World Championships won two years ago in Lahti, because they took 4th place.
World Championships in Seefeld 2019 - Poles just behind the podium
, which they won two years ago in Lahti. The competition took place in Innsbruck on the HS130 hill. Poland was represented by Kamil Stoch, Piotr Zyla, Jakub Wolny, Dawid Kubacki and Stefan Hula. Ultimately, for the first time during the term of coach Stefan Horngacher, the Poles did not manage to win any podium places in the team competition. Our team finished yesterday's ski jumping in 4th place. It is worth recalling that Polish jumpers took high places in 2013, 2015 and 2017. They won bronze twice and gold last time.

Germany is the World Champion. They were second to none
In yesterday's team competition, the German team left everyone behind. The jumps performed by the German team allowed them to get 987,5 points and thus to be in the first place. Just behind them with 930,9 points was Austria, and the third and last place on the podium was taken by Japan with 920,2 points.
