Election to the European Parliament in Norway - the Polish consul in Norway expressed his thanks!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Voters,
Elections to European Parliament in Norway, which took place on May 26, 2019, showed a very high voter turnout. Throughout Norway, 6025 voters registered for the voter roll, which puts the Polish community voting in Norway in the top five in the world in terms of the number of people who registered for the voter roll, while 5391 voters cast votes.
It proves your great commitment and concern for the future of our homeland.
I would like to thank you very warmly for your participation in the elections to the European Parliament
and numerous arrivals at polling stations.
It should be emphasized that the elections went smoothly, and the voters showed a great deal of calmness, understanding and patience, especially in the moments of voter accumulation and the need to wait longer in queues to vote.
You deserve huge thanks for this attitude, which I hereby allow myself to convey to you, hoping for the same commitment on your part and a similar, understanding attitude in the autumn elections to the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland.
Yours faithfully,
W on behalf of all employees of the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Oslo,
Employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Norway and your own,
Anna Śmiałek-Grzyb
Consul of the Republic of Poland in Oslo
