The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Anniken Hauglie (H) recently presented the range of budgetary targets for 2020. The provisions and plans of significant cuts in funds for rehabilitation benefits may be disturbing. The amount is to be reduced from CZK 198.000 to CZK 130.000. Moreover, it is to apply only to the youngest beneficiaries - under 25 years of age.
Voices of opposition: "this is not a good solution!"
The Labor Party does not hide its opposition:
“Instead of giving people jobs and a sense of security, the government cuts funds where it hurts the most and treats people differently. Those who have very little will be motivated to be active by limiting their aid funds. At the same time, the rich will be motivated by higher benefits. That's politics influences the growth of differences in Norwegian society and it will not receive the support of the Labor Party,” Christoffersen of the Labor Party said in an interview with VG.
Who receives rehabilitation allowances in Norway?
Let's look at the current statistics for a moment. Today he receives rehabilitation benefits in Norway 117.000 people. The benefit is paid at special times: when, due to illness or accident, these people need help with NAV. The purpose of providing this financial support is to help you return to work.
