In mid-October, the Norwegian Lillestrøm will host another edition of the international construction trade fair Bygg Reis Deg. This is another exhibition event at which PAIH will organize a national information and promotion stand as part of the Industry Promotion Program "Construction and finishing of buildings".
This year's edition of the event will be attended by over 60 individual exhibitors from the Vistula River. Polish entrepreneurs will thus constitute the largest group of foreign participants of the Bygg Reis Deg. Among the wide group of companies from Poland, there will be, among others manufacturers of construction chemicals, joinery, energy-saving construction, finishing materials and smart home solutions.
Companies from construction industry they can also count on the support of the Foreign Trade Office in Oslo. Norway is experiencing a construction boom with a record number of projects planned and underway. More than 40% of total investments come from public funds for new engineering facilities, but also for the modernization of existing ones.
Plans in Norway
Norwegian government implements the National Transport Plan for 2018-2029, the aim of which is to create effective and safe transport corridors - road, rail, sea and air. The assumed budget is 400 billion Norwegian kroner (NOK). A strong public sector is the largest customer for construction companies, but it is also a demanding customer that imposes regulations and requirements on developers,
architects, subcontractors and general contractors.
What ambitions?
The ambitious Norwegian plans include:
emission-free construction sites in Oslo, improvement of the urban transport network in Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger, development
infrastructure in the far north (Finnmark, Svalbard), and of course numerous commercial and residential construction projects throughout the country. I believe that now is a good time for companies interested in taking up the challenge of entering the Norwegian market. However, it should be remembered that there are a number of formal requirements,
legal and product requirements that must be met in order to comply with Norwegian regulations.
