Poland Norway From June 13, anyone who has a legal stay in the Schengen area, including Norwegian citizens, can enter Poland without quarantine. For information on alert and coronavirus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against traveling that is not absolutely necessary in all countries except the Nordic countries. The travel council is valid until August 20.

As of June 15, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against traveling which is not absolutely necessary. Travel to Scandinavian countries with high spread of infection, as defined by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, should be avoided. Limitations of protection against infection

Covering the mouth and nose is compulsory in public buildings. The same in public transport and in places where it is impossible to keep two meters from others. The use of a mask is recommended, but you can also use a scarf or other item of clothing. The person is responsible for compliance with the current rules and their observance. Shops, restaurants, lodging facilities and cultural institutions can remain open, with some restrictions on protection against infection. Larger sporting and cultural events are currently not allowed.

If you have symptoms, such as a fever, cough, or breathing problems, you should immediately:

  • Alarm Station of Sanitary Epidemiology (Chief Sanitary Inspectorate)

and/ or

  • Seek medical attention from an infectious medicine department, where medical staff decide which procedures to follow

Norwegians in Poland should keep abreast of the development of the corona virus and follow the recommendations Polish government (in English).
