“I am incredibly proud”
As Esben Holmboe Bang said in an interview with Dagbladet, he is extremely proud of this award. Especially that over the course of the year, Maaemo, led by him, advanced from 79th place to 35th position. He also points out that 60% of his guests come to Oslo mainly to try the restaurant food. He hadn't expected this to happen when he opened Maaemo ten years ago.
