Police received reports of several landslides during the night, particularly in Bagn in Valdres and Sel in Gudbrandsdalen. In total, it is estimated that more than 600 people were evacuated. No injuries reported.
Last night, 15 households were evacuated in the municipality of Sel.
The police are closely monitoring the situation and allocating resources to be on standby in relevant areas inland, and the situation remains unclear and chaotic. On Wednesday night police received reports of 16 landslides, 6 reports of flooding and 12 natural damage. In addition, problems with telephone communication were reported in Gausdal.

Many roads are closed and access is restricted. Roads may also be closed at short notice. Avoid unnecessary movement. E6 and highway 3 are closed. Up-to-date information on which roads are affected can be found at vegvesen.no
The Police conducts a close dialogue with the state administration and other cooperating entities and participates in crisis management of communes.
More rainfall is expected and further actions are being considered, including evacuating residents and closing roads.
