Foreign workers from the "red" countries must be quarantined

Other employees may still be quarantined. But here the rules are also tightened: workers who are quarantined during their free time must be tested every three days and placed in private rooms for the first ten days in the country, the government press release said.

This change will go into effect at midnight Saturday October 31st.

Children exceptions

Guri Melby says exceptions will be made for children. Our knowledge of the spread of infection among children indicates that there is no need for such strict restrictions among the youngest.

We must reduce the mobility of society. Reduce the number of close contacts. Reduce the number people you meet. Can you work from home?… Do it. Can you postpone the wedding and confirmation?… Do it. I understand that many are upset and that many have probably abandoned their precautionary measures. These have been relaxed but need to be revisited, says Johansen, and repeats the basic principles and measures, including hand washing.

The chairman of the city council adds that there are many in the world who experience much greater difficulties than in Norway today. However, the most important thing is to take this situation seriously also in the future. This is to ensure that Norway also becomes a country that can reopen.
