The vaccination program against Covid 19 is underway. Thanks to it, we will soon return to normality. For many people, the vaccine is hope for a better and normal tomorrow. This is how she is perceived by them. People who have already had the first or even second dose confirm: "it's a big emotion and a kind of relief." Under the influence of these emotions, a kind of trend of posting vaccination certificates on Facebook and other social media has arisen. However, experts warn against doing this. The data on the certificate gives a lot of scope to fraudsters. What is this scam? Do we have anything to fear?
Vaccination. Leave the certificate for yourself. Don't post!
It can be dangerous to share your vaccination certificate on social media. Why?
“Photographs of certificates allow fraudsters to download stamps, medical signatures and vaccine batch numbers. all users should be aware that this is confidential information that is visible not only to their own friends but also to unknown third parties and the social networks themselves. " Caspar informed the DPA. (o2.pl)
Vaccination certificate - a gateway to unfair practices ...
The vaccination program continues. However, disturbing information is already appearing on the Internet. Counterfeit vaccination cards are being sold more and more often. The problem is getting worse and the fraud is widespread. Probably this scale will get higher and higher. The Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office has investigated that fraudsters offer statements via Telegram's online messenger. The price for such a forged certificate ranges from 99 to 250 euros.
In sum. Above all, it is worth being vigilant and cautious!
Vaccination. The certificate is valid. However, it is worth keeping them to yourself and not succumbing to trends. Social media is where our sensitive data can be misused. We wrote about it in the text: Facebook - what does it know about us? Signal's controversial campaign. We must navigate the web with caution and vigilance - carefully verify both the entries we view ourselves and the content and photos that we publish. Even more in this difficult time. Only in this way can we better care for the good of all of us.
