my name is Natalia Kolodziejczak, I am twenty two years old. I was born in Lower Silesia, but have been living in Norway for thirteen years. The decision to come to Norway was made by my parents and as a child I didn't have much to say, so as a result I had to go with them. The beginnings were difficult because of the language, but as a young person who quickly assimilates knowledge, I learned it quickly. Thanks to this, I made new acquaintances and finished basic education.
I currently live in Oslo, where I also study Polish at the University.
The reason I decided to take up these studies was to improve my skills native language. I also wanted to work as a translator because then I could use the linguistic knowledge I had already acquired. Currently I'm not sure if this is what I want. However, I believe that it is important to know your roots and deepen your knowledge about Poland. My studies gave me the opportunity to go to Poland for a year to expand the knowledge I wanted so much. I lived in Wrocław at that time, and I continued my studies at the University of Wrocław. This trip helped me practice the acquired language knowledge in everyday life, and lectures given by people such as Jan Miodek and other outstanding people were even more helpful.

As a Pole living in Norway, I want to cultivate our native language and culture. Because it is a part of me, however, I do not know for sure whether my future will be connected with my native language. I am now an adult who is still trying to find myself in this big world/beautiful country. I hope that the work in Radio Wataha will help me find my life path, which can have so many different possibilities.
