He worked as a policeman
NRK writes that the man was a policeman, but in recent years he had a job at the Police Academy which confirms that one of the deceased is employed by them.
“This is a tragic case, and our thoughts naturally go to family, friends, and associates who have been affected by death. Police Academy staff are now looked after in accordance with our procedures, ”writes spokesman Rune Kvernen from the university to NRK.
Marthinsen confirms the information about the employment, but does not know if the man was also employed in other police vacancies at the time of his death.
Police said the couple had not been registered before due to problems in the family.
"There is currently no information that indicates that other people were involved in the incident," says Marthinsen.
