The Norwegians' desire to travel seems insatiable after reopening. On Finn's website, traffic to travel sites has now returned to 2019 levels.

Great interest in travels

Travel-hungry Norwegians have been looking for everything from airline tickets and package holidays to car rentals, hotels and holiday homes since the country reopened.

Website Finn says they experienced a spike in going overseas when they reopened, and had over half a million visits to their travel sites last week.

"Total traffic for Finn Reise is now back to 2019 levels. This is very rewarding for the travel industry," says Sales Director Terje Berge at Finn Reise.

- Over the weekend we saw an increase in traffic by almost 300%, so you can see that many Norwegians are ready for the holidays.

The trend we are seeing now is projected to continue to strengthen in the coming time.

- It is clear that after a year and a half with travel restrictions, it is now a holy grail for companies.
