79 workers in Steinkjer and 68 in Stavanger are at risk of losing their jobs due to Nortura's new factory in Tønsberg.

This means they are also downsizing this division in Steinkjer and Stavanger, meaning 147 employees will lose their jobs.

The factory is scheduled to be completed in summer 2023. After this period, butchery activities in Steinkjer and Stavanger will be gradually reduced.
"It was almost silent today," says Ronny Aunan, chief flight attendant at Nord Steinkjer, Wednesday after the president's visit.
CEO Anne Marit Panengstuen reports that job cuts have been announced for a long time.
- Of course, this is not a nice message - and adds that the company has a good history of restructuring.
He says workers in Steinkjer and Stavanger will be given priority when the Tønsberg factory increases employment by around 70 workers.
