– For more and more people, computer games are more than just a hobby. This is a growing industry and I see great opportunities for newcomers companies and more jobs in Norway. The business community of the future will require enormous digital competences, and people with knowledge of computer games will be even more attractive to Norwegian companies, says Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

Spillexpo takes place on the weekend of November 12-14, and the organizers estimate that the fair will be visited by 20 boys and girls. Here you can try out the latest gaming technology. The prime minister was able to play the Forza car game with Stian Blipp and Arman "Phenom" Hanjani, one of the world's leading esports athletes, among others.

Several Norwegian computer games have gained international recognition, and the government wants to support the development of computer games.

- The government will present measures that will make the production of computer games in Norway more attractive. We want to contribute to increased value creation and more jobs in the Norwegian gaming industry, says Jonas Gahr Støre.
