Ceremonial celebration of the National Independence Day at the Polish Social Saturday School in Fredrikstad
November 11 is a day of joy and pride in the reborn Republic of Poland after 123 years of partitions. On this day, we remember in a special way the generations of those who fought for the rebirth of their country. Generations of Poles were remembered and their sacrifice, which is the foundation of our identity.
It is a common holiday for all Poles, including those living abroad.
Today we hosted at the Polish Social Saturday School in Fredrikstad
On the occasion of the National A ceremonial academy took place today at PSSS in Fredrikstad. The Fathers of Independence were remembered: Marshal Józef Piłsudski, Wojciech Korfanty, Roman Dmowski, Ignacy Daszyński, Ignacy Paderewski and Wincenty Witos. Students from schools wonderfully prepared by teachers they recited and sang patriotic songs. All students and parents were welcomed and given an introductory speech by the school's principal, Mariusz Kala. Of course, our anthem was sung by everyone present at the beginning of the academy. The whole thing was accompanied by a multimedia show.
We would like to thank everyone involved, especially students and teachers, for preparing a wonderful academy.
