. Most employees and retirees who use electronic devices receive a new tax return for the 2020 income year. An important change is that not everyone receives their tax return at the same time. Your tax return will be available on various dates. As always, you will be notified by Skatteetaten when you can check yours.

Some still receive their tax return in the same format as before. This could be because you or any spouse, registered partner or cohabitant have tax matters that are not covered by your new return this year.

The new tax return is still pre-filled with information, but has a new look and is easier to use. However, the most important thing is to check, change or add information to your tax return.
