Police say it will take a long time to find the cause of the plane crash in which three people were killed in Tvedalen, Larvik on Tuesday.

Two students and an instructor from Pilot Flight Academy were killed in the crash on Tuesday morning.

Police Inspector Magnar Pedersen says in a press release that there is still a lot of work to be done at the scene of the accident.

- In addition to the police, Kripos and the Accident Investigation Board Norway are also on site to conduct investigations.

On Wednesday, the police will conduct a tactical investigation in the form of questioning witnesses and gathering information.

It may take a long time to find the cause of the accident. The police conduct their investigation taking into account several investigative hypotheses.

Plane crash in Larvik

- We have three missing after the plane crash, thus three people were found at the scene of the accident. They are autopsied and identified to confirm their identity. Therefore, the police will not be able to reveal the names until the identity is confirmed. In this regard, we will also consider close relatives, says Pedersen.
