A new variant of COVID-19

As we well know, a new variant of COVID-19 has been discovered. As a result, people who come from countries where the new variant has been confirmed must undergo a 10-day quarantine at the hotel. This is to prevent the spread of a new variant of the virus in Norway.

As we well know, there are a lot of infections in Norway recently, and vaccines are the most important preventive measure against infections. People over 65 have already started taking the 3rd dose of the vaccine. However, it is also important to get the rest of the country's population on the 3rd dose.

As the prime minister himself said, "all measures that ensure quick and easy access to vaccinations are very important, which is why mobile vaccinations are starting".

Fighting COVID-19, mobile vaccination in Oslo

As mentioned above, the cars will be driven around schools and workplaces. Including after construction sites to facilitate access to vaccinations. Number people vaccinated in Oslo this is expected to increase, and at the same time the number of infections should decrease.

The Islamic Cultural Center has launched an initiative to convert closed mosques into vaccination points. Raymond Johansen is very grateful for this as such actions help in the fight against COVID-19.

Raymond Johansen says that when there is a great interest in mobile vaccinations, the commune will decide to organize more such vehicles. They want to use these cars to convince those skeptical about vaccinations to get vaccinated.

It is worth adding that VG recently wrote an article about the fact that Poles are an ethnic group where the fewest number of people are vaccinated. However, this is not true, because many Poles are vaccinated but not registered in the Norwegian system. This is because many of us have a D number with which they can get vaccinated. However, unfortunately, they do not have access to the vaccination certificate. When asked how the prime minister wanted to solve this problem, he replied that he was not sure, but promised to look at the situation. It is worth noting that many Poles have European Union vaccination certificates because they got vaccinated in Poland.
