The entry quarantine only applies to travelers from red, dark red and gray countries (countries and areas outside the EEA / Schengen and UK) that do not have a valid, verifiable corona certificate . Children and youth under 18 years of age are exempt from entry quarantine regardless of where they come from. For all travelers, the entry quarantine can also be shortened by a negative PCR test result. The test must be taken no earlier than three days after arrival.

Changes to the country list will appear based on the covid-19 and  an interactive map on FHI.no  from Monday 6 December inclusive. As of week 49, no countries are classified as green or orange.

Requirements for an entry quarantine for nthe following countries:

Italy, Malta, San Marino and the Vatican (all turned from orange to red).

The following countries are still red or dark red in color and have quarantine requirements on entry (same requirements for red and dark red countries):

Red: Bulgaria (changed from dark red), France, Portugal, Romania, and Spain.

Dark red: Andorra, Belgium, Estonia, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Croatia, Cyprus (changed to red), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco (changed to red), Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, UK, Switzerland , Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Austria.

Regions and autonomous territories in the Nordic region

Sweden

The following regions no longer need to go into quarantine:

Norrbotten and Södermanland (changed from red to orange).

The following regions still do not have pre-quarantine requirements (same requirements for green and orange regions) :

No region in Sweden has been green for 48 weeks.

Orange: Dalarna, Jämtland, Jönköping, Kronoberg and Västerbotten.

Requirements for an entry quarantine will be introduced in the following region:

Östergötland (changed from orange to red).

The following regions are still red and require entry quarantine:  Blekinge, Gävleborg, Gotland, Halland, Kalmar, Skåne, Stockholm, Uppsala, Värmland, Västernorrland, Västmanland, Västra Götaland and Örebro.

Denmark (including autonomous territories)

No regions have been green or orange in Denmark since week 46.

Selected archipelagos in Europe

The following archipelagos still do not have quarantine entry requirements (same requirements for green and orange archipelagos) :

No archipelagos have been green since week 48.

Orange: Sardinia (Italy) and Sicily (Italy).

The following archipelagos still have entry quarantine requirements (same requirements for red and dark red archipelagos) :

Red: Azores (Portugal), Balearic Islands (Spain), Canary Islands (Spain), Madeira (Portugal), North Aegean (Greece) (changed from dark red) and South Aegean (Greece).

Dark red: Ionian Islands (Greece), Corsica (France) (changed from red) and Crete (Greece).
