Agder Police held meetings with the Emergency Preparedness Board to avoid a similar road chaos as at the E18 in Tvedestrand.
Up to 2500 cars were lined up Tuesday after several trucks were stuck in the snow. As a result, several drivers were evacuated by the Red Cross and the police.
On Wednesday afternoon there was another traffic jam on the E18 road east of Brokelandsheia on the border between Agder and Telemark, towards Oslo, writes NRK .
Sent orange warning about the danger due to heavy snow in Telemark and Agder. There may be up to 80 centimeters of snow. The Norwegian Meteorological Institute extended the danger warning until Friday evening.

According to NRK, the Norwegian Public Road Administration has invested more funds to check. Do the vehicles have the correct tires to drive on the E18 in snowy weather.
Large amounts of snow on Tuesday evening created challenges for E18 traffic. Lots of drivers sat in line for hours, partly because some trucks were stuck.
