The Swedish government will introduce new restrictions early next week, but they will not be as strict as in Norway and Denmark.

This is what Social Affairs Minister Lena Hallengren says.

- I cannot say now what the restrictions will be, but I have a hard time imagining the measures taken in Denmark and Norway - says Hallengren in Swedish radio .

As you know, Norway has banned drinking alcohol in bars and banning face masks. In Denmark, i.a. Museums, theaters and cinemas are closed, and alcohol is forbidden from 22:00.

Measures Sweden has today include recommendations on vaccination passports in some cases, recommendations on home office and gathering avoidance.

According to the TT news agency, new measures that may appear this week include, among others.
A home office for anyone who can
Extend the passport requirement (COVID-19) in several places
Adults should not participate in sports activities.

From December 21, 2021, Swedish authorities will reintroduce requirements to document a negative Covid-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, or a valid vaccination passport or a history of Covid-19 disease upon entry to Sweden from Norway and other Scandinavian countries. Also from countries outside the EU-EEA, with some exceptions.
