Kristiansand train station is closed from Monday morning and renovation works continue until Tuesday.

Bane Nor announces at midnight that repair of the broken overhead line will continue.

As reported by Bane Nor on his website, new information about the work progress will not come until 5 am on Tuesday .

Trains between Oslo and Stavanger do not pass Kristiansand.

Passengers going to Kristiansand will be dropped off at Vennesla. From there, they are transported by bus to Kristiansand. Passengers going to Oslo or Stavanger are transported by bus to Vennesla, he writes Fædrelandsvennen.

It is currently uncertain when trains will be able to travel to Kristiansand again. On Monday, 16 trains from Go-Ahead were affected.

Update from 5:30 on 28.12

By 5.30 everything was back to normal. After the repair, the station may have reopened, reports Bane Nora NTB.
