About the movie
The inspiring story of Anna Przybylska - a brave, life-loving girl from Gdynia who makes her dreams come true. Girls with the face of an angel and a characteristic voice known, among others, from from the role of "Marylka" from the series "Złotopolscy" and the films "Dark Side of Venus", "Career of Nikoś Dyzma", "Vulture" and "Ticket to the Moon".
Ania - mother, partner, friend, actress, model fulfilled in each of these roles. In the film we will hear her contagious laugh, she will tell what success, beauty and meaning of life meant to her. The family will reminisce about what she was like off-camera and what a mom she was. Colleagues will talk about her work on the set and professional career, while friends will talk about how she surprised them and what memories she left them with when she passed away in 2014.
The full-length documentary "ANIA" presents interviews and previously unpublished materials from private archives. Thanks to them, you can see a portrait of a woman maintaining a balance between public professional life and family life. Shared moments with Anna Przybylska will be remembered by, among others: her partner Jarosław Bieniuk, daughter Oliwia, mother and sister of the actress. There will be no shortage of stories related to her life and career in the memories of director Radosław Piwowarski and many actors. Katarzyna Bujakiewicz, Szymon Bobrowski, Anna Dereszowska, Jan Englert, Paweł Małaszyński, Andrzej Piaseczny, Paweł Wawrzecki, Michał Żebrowski and others.
Premiere in Poland
The film will hit cinemas nationwide on October 7. Its creators are Krystian Kuczkowski and Michał Bandurski, who made unique documentaries about the greatest Polish stars of the stage. "Krzysztof Krawczyk - my whole life" and "Maryla. I loved so much."
