Ladies and Gentlemen, I have great pleasure in inviting you for the 13th time to the Norwegian-Polish version of “Thanks Jimi Festival" – May 1, 2023 at 16.00:XNUMX p.m. – Kolbenkulturhus in Kolbotn / Nordre Follo Kommune)

originator

Leszek Cichoński – an outstanding Polish guitarist (Guinness record of 2022—7676 guitarists played together «Hey Joe»)

Artistic head of the Norwegian version

Mirosław «Carlos» Kaczmarczyk — before leaving Polish guitarist of the first band of the musical "Metro" in Warsaw and on Broadway NYC as well as the leader of the Polish-Norwegian Loud Jazz Band.

The Norwegian version of the festival makes us all the "stars" of the festival

Children, adults, local teams and professionals, families, beginners and advanced, guests from other areas Norway but also from Poland, current and former students of our music schools…

The unique aspect of our only festival in Norway is

Norwegian youth singing Polish hits. And perhaps the most important thing: The festival orchestra has been meeting regularly since January. This is where contacts are made and where we create our own versions of famous songs.

Purpose of the event

Our goal is not only «playing covers» but spontaneous music-making, improvising on the verge of happening. Communication and interaction are the main and unique aspect of the Norwegian version. And we're talking about an orchestra of about 60-70 people. We look forward to meeting the audience. We invite you to participate!
