High risk of flooding and landslides

Heavy rainfall will hit parts of eastern Norway, Trøndelag, Møre and Romsdal on Monday and Tuesday, with a high risk of flooding and landslides. The government encourages people to listen to the authorities and avoid unnecessary travel.

NVE and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute changed the danger warning from orange to red for parts of southern Norway on Sunday. Red is the highest warning level given for floods and landslides and is very rare. This may cause serious damage. NVE and emergency services are prepared to assist with the storm.
