NAV: Too much tax collected on AAP and unemployment benefit payments

On Tuesday, January 2, NAV deducted too high tax from the payment of AAP and unemployment benefits - as we read in information from this institution.

NAV also reported that 77 people were affected by this error.

NAV explains that the error is due to the update of tax calculation systems in the transition to the new year. This error was that tax was charged at a fixed rate, as is the case with late payments, rather than the regular tax card.

The vast majority of people want to have money in their account within one day, but this may depend on the bank where you have an account - as we read further.

NAV also writes that it understands the burden this has placed on individuals and apologizes for the error.
