As we read in the press release of the Polish Ski Association, the Polish Tournament has begun. In the top 20 of the World Cup in snowboarding and Nordic combined our representatives were there.
The first FIS Ski Jumping World Cup competitions in the PolSKI Tournament series are already behind us. We are now moving the competition to Szczyrk. The Poles finished the duet competition in 6th place, and the best in the individual competition was 14th. Piotr Zyla. However, the New Jersey skier - Joanna Kil and snowboarders Weronika Dawidek i Oskar Kwiatkowski placed in the top 20 of the World Cup in their disciplines. We still keep our fingers crossed for Polish athletes - we read further on the PZN website.

Ski jumping
In the duet competition held on the ski jumping hill. Adam Małysz in Wisła-Malinka, the best were Slovenians: Lovro Kos and Anze Lanisek. The Polish duo advanced to the final series and took 6th place.
Results of our jumpers
According to PZN, he took part in the first individual competition of the World Cup in the Polish Tournament six Poles, and four of them advanced to the second series. The best jumps were performed by Piotr Żyła (124/127 m), who finished the competition in 14th place. Here are the rest of the places Polish representatives:

Maciej Kot and Andrzej Stękała did not advance to the competition, taking unlucky 51st and 52nd places in the qualifications.
In the second series, Ryoyu Kobayashi was unrivaled, flying to 139,5 meters and advancing from fifth to first place. For the Japanese, it was the first triumph at the facility. Adam Małysz.
