Weijing W., the director of Huawei in Poland, was arrested on charges of espionage. The man was allegedly involved in espionage for China. The Internal Security Agency arrested "Stanisław" on Thursday evening.
Huawei as a "tool for espionage"
The large corporation, founded in 1987 in China, has been suspected more than once of being a "tool for espionage". The USA has been warning other countries about this for years and actively participates in blocking the company's devices in all tenders. After all, America was not left alone on the battlefield, because the countries supporting it were joined by New Zealand, Japan, Australia, France and Great Britain. It is for this reason that the arrest of Huawei's director in Poland, Weijing W., spread around the world.

Arrested on suspicion of espionage
The director of Huawei in Poland, Weijing W., who uses the name "Stanisław" in Poland, was arrested on Thursday. The Internal Security Agency carried out the arrest in the evening. The charges brought against "Stanisław" include espionage for China and cooperation with Chinese intelligence. This was not the only such arrest that day. At the same time, the officers detained a Pole, Piotr D., who was also charged with espionage and cooperation with Chinese intelligence. Piotr D. is an employee of Orange and the Office of Electronic Communications, as well as a former ABW officer. Both men face up to 10 years imprisonment.

“This incident damaged the company's image”
It goes without saying that yesterday's incident has severely damaged the image of Huwaei as the world's largest producer of telecommunications equipment. The Chinese management board's statement on this issue is as follows:
“Huawei decided to terminate the employment contract with Mr. Wang Weijing, who was arrested on charges of violating Polish law. The acts he is accused of have no connection with our company. We made this decision in accordance with the provisions of the employment contract, because the incident damaged the company's image. "Huawei complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which it operates and requires each employee to comply with the laws and regulations in force in the country in which he or she works."
