On Tuesday, Avinor posted on Facebook, in which she writes that she and Oslo Gardermoen Airport have fallen victim to fraud .

“We are constantly aware that there are people impersonating us at Oslo Gardermoen Airport. There is only one official Facebook page for Oslo Airport, marked with a blue certification mark," the post reads.

Romerikes Error was the first to mention this matter.

The Facebook scams claiming to feature Oslo Airport Gardermoen include the following information:

“The management of our airport has decided to get rid of luggage lost by customers in in recent years 6 months, selling suitcases for only NOK 16. Anyone can buy the suitcase by clicking the button in the ad.”

Avinor responds to fraud.

– It is a very serious matter that someone impersonates us, so we take such incidents very seriously seriously. To warn our followers, we have posted a scam on Oslo airport and on Avinor's Facebook pages. In its Facebook post, Avinor says it will never ask people for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers or passwords.
