On Tuesday, Avinor posted on Facebook, in which she writes that she and Oslo Gardermoen Airport have fallen victim to fraud .

“We are constantly aware that there are people impersonating us at Oslo Gardermoen Airport. There is only one official Facebook page for Oslo Airport, marked with a blue certification mark," the post reads.

Romerikes Error was the first to mention this matter.

The Facebook scams claiming to feature Oslo Airport Gardermoen include the following information:

“The management of our airport has decided to get rid of luggage lost by customers in in recent years 6 months, selling suitcases for only NOK 16. Anyone can buy the suitcase by clicking the button in the ad.”

Avinor responds to fraud.

– It is a very serious matter that someone impersonates us, so we take such incidents very seriously seriously. To warn our followers, we have posted a scam on Oslo airport and on Avinor's Facebook pages.
