From 13 to 16 March Bergen Public Library in association with Varmere Våtere Villere invites you to Klimafestivalen junior - a festival for children and young people for which climate, nature and sustainable development are green themes.
4–16 years old. Children and teenagers in Bergen organize an climate festival!
The goal of the festival is to deliver children and youth aged 4 to 16 years old with adapted information and knowledge about the current climate situation. The library offers literary and cultural experiences and provides specific skills for action and change through various types of workshops. The library also shows young participants that they are taken seriously, including: by giving them a voice in meetings with professionals and people in authority. During "Klimafestivalen junior" children and teenagers will be able to hear, learn, act and experience.
Festival days March 13–16
From Wednesday, March 13 to Friday, March 15, the library is organizing a daytime program for preschool children and primary school students. It will take place in all district libraries.
On Saturday, March 16, Bergen Public Library, the Varmere Våtere Villere climate festival and VilVite are joining forces to create an exciting program for children, young people and families in various locations around the city. The program of this day is open to everyone!

The festival is the result of cooperation between the Bergen Public Library and Climate Festival Varmere Våtere Villere . The Climate Festival Junior project was implemented with funds National Library .
The content of the festival is therefore created in cooperation with the Ministry of Climate and Environment, the Climate Agency in the municipality of Bergen, the UN, the Climate Club, Nature and Youth, Bybonden, Smaksverkstedet, joint workshops in Bergen, Eminus Fashion and more, a number of authors, researchers and mediators who co-create program during "Klimafestivalen junior".
