The airspace is being gradually opened

The error has been corrected and the airspace is gradually opening to traffic, Avinor informs

Due to this incident there will unfortunately be delays throughout the day.
The reason was a technical error at the Control Center in Oslo, which resulted in severe restrictions in the airspace in southern Norway.
Avinor apologizes for the inconvenience caused and asks all passengers to follow the information received from the airline.

Pål Simonsen, an expert on the airport, landing sites and surrounding areas, tells VG that Thursday's flight chaos will have huge consequences.

“For the airlines, it will be a brutal game of solitaire that will have to be solved later to make it work. It will not be easy.
