* At the first meeting, the resignation of the outgoing government is accepted, and the king in the cabinet, i.e. the government, appoints a successor. This document is signed by all the ministers who then leave the Slottsplassen to say goodbye to the people. Members of the government return to their offices.
* During the second meeting at the Palace, a few hours later, the King and the Støre government will formally assign areas of responsibility to the new ministers. At this meeting, the government is to be declared ready.
* Then it is the turn of Jonas Gahr Støre and the new government to go out to Slottsplassen and receive tribute from the people and their party colleagues.
