Labor leader Jonas Gahr Støre identifies six priority areas for the new red-green government after the elections.
In a speech on Tuesday to the national leadership of the Labor Party, Støre made it clear that Norway would face major challenges in the years to come.
"There will be some tough choices," he said.
- However, I am afraid that since this week we are taking the opportunity to talk about what awaits us in a new way. We can take care of it when we are at our best.
Støre has listed six goals that he believes will be important for the new government:
reducing disparities in society
implement large reductions in greenhouse gas emissions
strengthening cooperation with others
export growth
safety for the elderly
ensure optimism in rural areas
"I am full of both optimism and a strong sense of responsibility," said the leader of the Labor Party.
Støre arrived at the same time with a message to his fellow party members while negotiations were being held with the Center Party and SV. The three issues will be continued on Thursday with interviews at Hurdalsjøen Hotel.
Støre argued that the aim of the APS was to form a majority government with all three parties.
"The talks are going in the right direction," he concluded.
