The District Prosecutor in Warsaw brought an indictment against Władysław Frasyniuk to the court. This applies to the incident that took place during last year's counter-manifestation against the Smolensk Monthly. He was supposed to violate the personal integrity of a police officer.
Up to 3 years in prison
Uniformed officers secured the Smolensk Monthly, which took place on June 10, 2017. Opponents of these celebrations staged a counter-demonstration to express their dissatisfaction. However, this was not reported anywhere, and therefore the police first called on the participants of this assembly to get out of the way of the participants of the Monthly. When this was unsuccessful, they began to force the counter-demonstrators out of the way. It was then that Władysław Frasyniuk was supposed to kick and struggle with police officers, which, in the opinion of the prosecutors, bears the hallmarks of a violation of personal inviolability.
Now the oppositionist is facing a fine, restriction of liberty or imprisonment for up to 3 years.
